Bigjigs Toys
Creating perfect playrooms since 1985
-
Bigjigs Toys was born in 1985 in Peter Ireland’s garden shed in Kent, England. Peter began making wooden jigsaws from floorboards, which he and wife Liz sold at craft fairs all across the UK. Peter and Liz gave up their teaching jobs to pursue the toys business full time and Bigjigs Toys was born!

How we get our start?
Initially, Bigjigs only produced jigsaw puzzles, made and packed in the garden shed. These puzzles were sold at a market in Covent Garden, London, making it the only sales outlet for Bigjigs products at the time. Bigjigs broadened its product range to magnets, wellie pegs, pencil holders, door plaques, and coat hooks. In the early 1990s, we debuted our first mail-order catalogue.
Why we love what we do?
Our mission is to deliver quality, safe and affordable products that are responsibly sourced and complement childhood development through fun, exploration, and learning.

looks great, it’s sturdy, has many activities for a toddler and pieces won’t go missing unlike other kids toyson close inspection it looks like the pictures on the cubes are stuck on, so not sure how long it’ll stay on for, but overall i loved this productbought as a gift for a 1 yr old

I have bought this lovely Activity Centre for my grandson for Christmas. It looks great and I’m sure he’s going to love it. I haven’t had it out of the box but it seems very well made with beautiful bright colours and a great variety of things for his little hands to do. I would definitely recommend this item and seller.

I have bought this as a gift for my friend’s little boy. It’s for his first birthday. It arrived on time and in excellent condition. I’m actually really pleased with it. Looks very interesting. As I took it out of the delivery box, my son (who is just over 7 months old) had his eyes all over it so I think I shall be buying one for him also when it’s his birthday.

I like very much the toy. My son got it as a 1y old present. For the moment he is not much into it. It is a bit too soon for this kind of toys, I guess even the recommended age is starting from 1.He plays with the letters part and likes to turn them round and I tell him what imagine it is when they stop turning. But it is good to learn the colours, numbers, letters, animals.
